Bethany Reed Hairston, M.D., F.A.A.D.
Dr. Bethany Reed Hairston is Board-Certified through the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has been practicing dermatology for 20 years.
Dr. Hairston is well-known for her caring bedside manner and thorough approach to all aspects of dermatology including general, surgical, and aesthetic services. In July 2011, she was recognized as one of the Top 50 Businesswomen in Mississippi by the Mississippi Business Journal. She is a published author of several articles in dermatology journals and textbook chapters. Dr. Hairston currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Mayo Clinic O’Leary Dermatology Society.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude from The University of Mississippi, Dr. Hairston attended The University of Mississippi School of Medicine, where she graduated 4th in her class and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha national honor society. She then completed a three-year residency in dermatology at one of the top training programs in the country, The Mayo Clinic, where she was honored to be selected as the recipient of the Paul A. O’Leary Award for Clinical Excellence. She returned to her hometown of Columbus, Mississippi and opened Vitality Dermatology, formerly known as The Dermatology Clinic, in 2009.
Mason Siddiqui, PA
Physician Assistant Mason Siddiqui, a native of Kansas City, joined Vitality Dermatology in September 2025. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Mason is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure. She is a member of the Pi Alpha National Physician Assistant Honor Society and the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates.
Mason is passionate about skin cancer prevention and early detection. She enjoys helping patients develop individualized treatment plans for acne and other dermatologic concerns. Her goal is to help patients feel confident in their skin at every stage of life. Mason is known for her welcoming and compassionate approach and values building lasting relationships with her patients.
Outside of the clinic, Mason enjoys spending time with her two children, golfing with her husband, and cheering on the Mississippi State Men’s Tennis Team. She is an active member of First Baptist Church Starkville.
Kala Wilson, C.R.N.P.
Nurse Practitioner Kala Wilson, a native of Columbus, joined Vitality Dermatology in February of 2012. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and her Master of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women. Kala is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Mississippi Board of Nursing.
Kala is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Society of Dermatology Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, Mississippi Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. Kala has a special interest in treating acne and rosacea, with a goal to improve appearance and self esteem. Acne is managed with a comprehensive approach, and an anti-acne regimen is individualized for every patient. Kala also treats patients with psoriasis, eczema, occupational dermatitis, skin cancers, and other conditions.
Michelle Beasley, C.R.N.P.
Nurse Practitioner Michelle Beasley, a native of Caledonia, joined Vitality Dermatology in July of 2021. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women and her Master of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women. Michelle is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Mississippi Board of Nursing, a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, and a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Michelle has been practicing for over eleven years in multiple fields and is known throughout the community for her positive and caring nature. She has special interests in both medical and aesthetic dermatology and states that she is most excited to incorporate her past experience while building new patient relationships.

Nicki is a University of Alabama graduate and has also pursued her dream of earning her aesthetician license. She has over 8 years employment and experience at Vitality Dermatology and works in our Columbus location. Nicki not only has a passion for helping her clients reach their skin care goals, but she also makes her clients feel comfortable with her genuine personality. Nicki states her favorite treatment is the Hydrafacial™ because of its ability to exfoliate, extract, and hydrate the skin.
Allison Thomas
Laser Specialist/Licensed Medical Aesthetician
Allison is a lifelong resident of Lowndes County. She has been in the healthcare field for the last 20 years. Her dental hygiene experience has given her the passion for helping others. With her love of skincare and cosmetics, Allison decided to expand her knowledge in these areas by pursuing aesthetics. Through facials, laser treatments, chemical peels, and custom skin care regimens, she is committed to helping you meet your skincare goals. Allison graduated from Amory Cosmetology Academy in May 2020 and soon after joined the Vitality Dermatology family. Her husband and three daughters have been her biggest supporters during this journey.
Patti Lott
Licensed Medical Aesthetician
Patti has been employed as a skincare specialist at Vitality Dermatology for over 13 years. In January, 2023, she decided to further her education and pursue her love for medical aesthetics. She has also had the opportunity to assist our laser specialist in various laser treatments and enjoys learning the numerous modalities in the laser aesthetic industry. Educating her clients and helping them feel beautiful and confident in their skin is her passion. Her favorite services include HydraFacials, Oxygen Facials and Dermaplaning.
